Our long weekend focuses in detail on the E flat major octets of Mozart, Hummel and Beethoven.

Parts will be available in advance, and players will be expected to have done some preparatory work before the course.  Minimum standard: Horn and Bassoon, Grade 6; Clarinet Grade 7.

Prize winning wind quintet, The Aurora Ensemble, will be visiting Hawkwood as part of their busy 2017 season.  Maxine Willis (flute), Gwenllian Davies (oboe), Andrew Mason (clarinet), Helen Shillito (horn) Stuart Russell (bassoon).
