Aurora Ensemble Autumn Octet Course Fri 23 Nov - Sun 25 Nov

Our long weekend focuses in detail on the E flat major octets of Mozart, Hummel and Beethoven.

Parts will be available in advance, and players will be expected to have done some preparatory work before the course.  Minimum standard: Horn and Bassoon, Grade 6; Clarinet Grade 7.

Arrival and registration Friday 23 November 12 noon - 1.00pm.  Course begins with lunch at 1.00pm; course ends with afternoon tea at 4.00pm on Sunday 25 Novmeber

Prize winning Aurora Wind Ensemble, will be visiting Hawkwood as part of their busy 2018 season.  Maxine Willis (flute), Gwenllian Davies (oboe), Andrew Mason (clarinet), Helen Shillito (horn) Stuart Russell (bassoon).
