Eric Whitacre's Choral World concert Sun 19 Aug

  • Arts

Eric Whitacre's choral music, by turns haunting and playful, lingers long in the heart and soul. His trademark scrunches, luscious harmonies, and fabulous sense of texture in sound are delightful for singers and listeners alike. Come and enjoy a sing-through concert at the conclusion of a choral weekend led by Gavin Carr, one of the UK's most celebrated and established choral conductors. Repertoire includes When David heard and selections from the Eric Whitacre collection.

Sunday 19 August at 3.15pm in the main hall

The concert is FREE but we are always very grateful for donations to our Hawkwood bursary fund! Friends and family are welcome.
