Choose from a variety of semi-precious metals or iron for your own unique piece of jewellery, such as a pendant or brooch. Learn how to cut out the outline, then shape it using hammers and mallets on a forming block. It isn’t heavy work, but it requires focus and consistency. It’s a meditative, artistic process.

The course begins with registration 4.00-6.00pm on Wednesday 26 July then supper together at 6.30pm and an introductory session.  The course ends with afternoon tea at 4.00pm on Friday 28 July

Ton Akkermans is a gifted blacksmith from Holland with extensive knowledge of singing bowls of ancient Tibet.

Carolina Schomper is a dancer, artist and energy worker.
