Enjoy a stimulating day learning basic techniques of woodcarving as part of the Creative Arts Summer School. You will learn about choosing suitable woods for a task and the correct selection and use of carving tools. You will complete a simple domestic item like a bowl or spoon to take home. There will be plenty of time for questions and individual attention in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

£75 including all equipment and materials, and delicious home-cooked lunch and two refreshment breaks.

David Lovemore is sculptor in residence at Amber Sculpture Studio at Hawkwood. David has many years of experience teaching all ages and abilities.
