The Sacred Clown Summer Course

This course offers a gentle, fun and creative introduction to the Sacred Clown.

From stillness and meditation to movement, mime and improvisation, we will explore the world of the Sacred Clown. There will also be a chance to unwind in the nurturing space of Hawk wood and its beautiful grounds. 

Open to beginners and those with more experience. 

Residential single £265; shared £225; non-residential £185

All meals included (except for breakfast if you are non-residential)

Reuben Kay: BA in Fine Arts, PGCEE (Emotional Education). Studied at the Fool at Heart School of Sacred Clowning  under Didier Danthois including a 3 year course The Sacred Clown as Healer 1996-98. Reuben has performed in a variety of venues as a mime clown and since 2004 has run his own workshops in Sacred Clowning.

Registration: Friday between 4pm - 6pm. Course begins with supper at 6.30pm and ends with tea on Sunday at 4.00pm.Participants please bring loose, comfortable clothes and a red nose if you have one.  Bring outdoor clothes and footwear if you wish to enjoy Hawkwood’s beautiful grounds.
