Gates open at 4pm Friday 7th July - films and music from 7pm.

Opening at 10.30am Saturday with some workshops before.

Closing Circle Sunday 9th July 6pm.

Seed Festival 2017 brings together changemakers from local, national and international arenas to debate social, cultural and environmental issues. We reveal how businesses on the cutting edge of change can be aligned with social action, arts and celebration. Top of the agenda are the latest advances in addressing climate change across generations, social groups and nations. Expect to be inspired to action on behalf of our future world!

An engaging, inclusive family festival in beautiful surroundings

In its third year these big ideas are now taking root, a place to dig deep and get real. It’s a festival with a strong intention, a conference in a field of dreams. We are redesigning reality, creating the blueprint for a world that thrives with nature. Hawkwood's beautiful setting with its biodynamic farm, country house, natural spring, gorgeous grounds and woodlands allow people to relax and be nourished in nature. 

2017 features BBC Tribe’s Bruce Parry; Green Party Co- Leader Caroline Lucas; Soil Association’s Helen Browning Friends of the Earth CEO Craig Bennett, Eden’s Tim Smit, Ecocide Lawyer Polly Higgins; Celebrate 10 years of the Transition movement with Rob Hopkins; Futerra Co-founder Ed GillespieSatish Kumar; Good Energy CEO Juliet Davenport and the Head of RSA Matthew Taylor. Plus up-and-coming ‘Millennials.’ hear voice of youth on Activism, Permaculture, Nature Connection, GMO, Soil and Money.

Family fun to engage in nature-based play with PROJECT DIRT, inviting children to unplug from the virtual world and get stuck into a real one. Loads of workshops plus performances from Matt HarveyGanda BoysAMJ Collective, Three acres and a Cow, plus Australia’s Formidable Vegetables and more.
