This workshop will be active & interactive, creatively exploring:
- Who are the women that have inspired us?
- In what way?
- How do we inspire future generations of girls & women?
- What qualities and gifts would we give a girl-child born right now?
The background will be sharing stories of women I’ve interviewed in the UK, India, South Africa, Europe, the US… Some high profile, others ‘extraordinary ordinary’ women.

Penni Blythe is a Woman of Wit, Wisdom & Wonder with a Fierce commitment to honouring and celebrating womanhood. She has had a ‘kaleidoscope career’ inspiring individuals, groups and organisations in teaching, youth work, coaching and leadership (voluntary sector, FTSE 100 companies) – with even a foray into Computer programming.
In recent years this background has resulted in creative and inspirational projects including Directing the 2013 centenary events #EmilyInspires! celebrating Emily Wilding Davison, the militant suffragette, buried minutes from her home in Morpeth, Northumberland.
