Introduction to Tui Na - Chris Handbury

Introduction to Tui Na - Chris Handbury Wed 02 Aug

  • Well-being

Tui Na uses the Traditional Chinese Medical theory of meridians and the flow of the Chi energy as its basic therapeutic orientation. Through the application of massage and manipulation techniques, Tui Na seeks to establish a more harmonious Chi energy through the system of channels and collaterals, allowing the body to naturally heal itself. You will learn basic theory and some simple hands-on techniques for use on your own body, friends or family.

"I have tried various physical therapies from all around the world and i still believe Tui Na to be the fastest way to get results...and its a very deeply relaxing experience" C Handbury

Christopher Handbury is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tui Na Massage, Acupuncture and Qigong and runs a very successful holistic clinic in Stonehouse, near Hawkwood. He says:

“My teaching of Qigong is born from my own personal experiences and that of my clinical knowledge of how illness and disease presents itself. I do not teach or sell esoteric notions, although I do find the imagination and poetic attributes of Chinese Qi Gong history very beautiful and interesting.
