In this day we will practice the key principles of Qi Gong: grounding, centering, settling, aligning; clearing, releasing and cultivating internal health. Nurturing and nourishing techniques help to assist the body into a natural state of healing and this allows the transformational qualities of Qi Gong to improve health and self-development.
We will explore simple ways of bringing this practice effortlessly into our daily lives.
This day is open to all whether you have done Qi Gong before or not. For those with experience, it will be familiar – and yet with a difference!
Christopher Handbury is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tui Na Massage, Acupuncture and Qigong and runs a very successful holistic clinic in Stonehouse, near Hawkwood. He says:
“My teaching of Qigong is born from my own personal experiences and that of my clinical knowledge of how illness and disease presents itself. I do not teach or sell esoteric notions, although I do find the imagination and poetic attributes of Chinese Qi Gong history very beautiful and interesting.
