Join Mel for a long weekend of deep and nourishing rest to restore mind, body and soul, and leave feeling stronger, calmer and better than ever.
Mel loves to share the practices which have brought her so much joy and peace in her own life. Each morning after breakfast we will explore gentle yet powerful yoga practices including simple meditations and gentle yin and yang yoga. In the late afternoon we will use more restorative yoga practices designed to take the body and brain out of high stress, and into a state of complete relaxation. There will be 2 - 3 yoga nidras each day, and with free time in the afternoons you can read, walk or simply catch up on sleep.
Although the yoga practices themselves are gentle and kind to the body, they are incredibly powerful. By creating the time and space for ourselves to find deep, nurturing rest, we are able to reduce tension in the body and mind, enabling ourselves to see more clearly, feel more calm, and be able to move from summer to autumn in a mindful way.
No prior experience of yoga or meditation required, this course is accessible for all.
