Mel is delighted to return for our annual Rest and Restore retreat at this very special time of year. As we slowly transition from summer into autumn, this retreat offers us the perfect opportunity to create time and space in our lives to embrace the changing season and to reflect on how we want to go forward in our lives. With a maximum of 12 guests, this retreat offers a friendly, safe environment in which you can move closer to uncovering your true nature.
Mel is delighted to share the practices which have brought her so much joy and peace. From restorative yoga to take the body out of high-stress mode, to slow long stretches to work deeply with long-held tensions, and plenty of soulful yoga nidras, this retreat promises to boost your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Each morning after breakfast we will explore gentle yet powerful yoga practices including simple meditations and gentle yin and yang yoga. In the late afternoon we will use more restorative yoga practices designed to take the body and brain out of high stress, and into a state of complete relaxation. There will be 2 - 3 yoga nidras each day, and with free time in the afternoons you can read, walk or simply catch up on sleep.
Although the yoga practices themselves are gentle and kind to the body, they are incredibly powerful. By creating the time and space for ourselves to find deep, nurturing rest, we are able to reduce tension in the body and mind, enabling ourselves to see more clearly, feel calmer, and be able to move from summer to autumn in a mindful yet joyful way.
No prior experience of yoga or meditation required. This course is accessible for all.
