This weekend is open to all string players, singers, keyboard and woodwind players with baroque instruments at A=415Hz pitch. Expert individual and group tuition is included with care being taken to form groups from musicians of compatible standards. Although some Harpsichords will be available, it is helpful if keyboard players can bring their own instruments. Please telephone the tutors if advice is needed.

Francis, Jane (cello/bass viol) has enjoyed organising baroque music courses at Hawkwood for over 25 years. She is joined by David Hatcher in the March Viol Consorts course (cello and viola da gamba); and Katharine May (harpsichord) Sharon Lindo (violin) and Jonathan Morgan (flute and recorder) in the Advanced Baroque Ensemble in November.
