At Hawkwood, we take great pleasure in providing delicious, nourishing, home-cooked food for our guests, whatever the size of group. To an impressive degree, our ingredients tick the boxes of fresh, organic, free-range, fair-trade, and local. Chef John Butt is professionally trained and has yielded to (friendly) pressure from guests to produce a recipe book and share some secrets of the Hawkwood kitchen.

This day is a chance to be tutored on some favourite Hawkwood dishes with the added thrill of cooking under pressure for real guests! No experience necessary.

Registration 8.30am. Course ends 3.00pm

Please bring or wear trainers or similar shoes (ladies no high heels); long hair needs to be tied back

Butt, John trained at Burleigh Court Hotel near Stroud and in the Bavarian Alps. He has worked in Michelin starred restaurants, including The Manoir Aux Quatre Saisons alongside Raymond Blanc.
