Heart of the Hearth, Course no 501

Ari Berk |
Coming Home to Our World
This midwinter course helps us develop a better relationship with the hearth-wights, ancestors and guardians who support the hearth of every home. The hearth-wights support us with welcome, joy and rest: when we nourish them, we nourish our whole household. We will explore what makes us at home in the world so that, from the Temple of Hestia to Kenneth Graham’s House of the Perfect Eaves, we will learn how to keep the hearth sacred in times of unrest. Work includes meeting the hearth guardians and ancestors, the courtesies of the hearth, making a hearth token, meditations, and a ritual entitled Guardians of the Hearth Flame. We invite you to cleanse and bless your hearth for a peaceful solstice!
