John Preston |
Mindfulness (living in the present moment) is an effective way of counteracting stress and increasing the sense of personal well-being. The day is designed for those who have not practised before or who have only limited experience. Techniques and concepts come primarily from the Buddhist tradition but no attempt is made to promote any particular faith. Mindfulness is of universal relevance. No special postures are required. There will be ample time to discuss practice within a supportive environment.
