Rudolf Steiner - Radical Spirit of Our Time, Course no 474
Friday, 23 Nov 2012 - Sunday, 25 Nov 2012
Bernard Jarman |
An introductory weekend of exploration
Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) was a man whose far reaching and revolutionary ideas spawned radical new departures in the fields of education, medicine, agriculture, the arts, philosophy and economics. His insights came through his own rigorous investigation and research into the spiritual context of life. Everything he did was out of a deep love for humanity and the greatest respect for individual freedom.
In this workshop we will ask who Rudolf Steiner was and explore some of the core impulses arising from his Science of the Spirit or anthroposophy as it is also known. No prior knowledge is required and the weekend will include practical and artistic activities as well as study and conversation.
