A quintessential craft in Spring or Autumn
Soap making is a satisfying hands-on craft. The course will combine collecting petals and discovering colours and textures in Hawkwood’s beautiful gardens followed by a step-by-step journey through the process of making vegetable oil soap. You will go home with about 8-10 bars of your own soap.
Please bring an apron and any favourite essential oils you want to work with.

Hutchinson, Lizzie is a passionate soapmaker, gardener and craftswoman. She uses organic ingredients, natural dyes, grows all her own flowers and herbs and collects native plants and berries from the hedgerows for use in her original soaps.
