Soap Making Day 2, Course no 394
Sunday, 30 Sep 2012 - Sunday, 30 Sep 2012

A quintessential craft
Soap making is a satisfying hands-on craft and a chance to experience the meeting of science and art in an alchemical process. We will start the day with a walk in Hawkwood’s beautiful gardens to see what is in flower and fruit, collecting petals and discovering colours and textures we want to play with. Later on we will make a step-by-step journey through the process of making a vegetable oil soap with optional essential oils. You will go home with about 8-10 bars of your own soap.
Please bring an apron and any favourite essential oils you want to work with.
