Colour permeates nature, buildings, our clothes and art. Explore the characteristics and properties of the Colour Circle through painting and develop a conscious instinct for colour harmonies, after-images, complementaries, warmth and coolness. We will also strike a balance between structure and creativity in a non-representational way, while remaining open to the possibility of pictures or forms arising out of the colour itself. You do not therefore need to know how to paint already although more experienced artists will also find the course highly enlightening. Everyone can do it.
