The Storyteller's Journey 2, Course no 441
Tuesday, 30 Oct 2012 - Tuesday, 27 Nov 2012
Kevan Manwaring |
Joseph Campbells' theory of 'The Hero's Journey' shall provide our guide as we delve into the Otherworld of myths, legends, folk tales and fairy stories to develop the timeless art of storytelling. Along the way we will meet strange and wonderful characters, lost realms and familiar landscapes - discovering tales on our doorstep. Bravely, we'll confront personal demons around performing in public within a friendly, supportive environment. By the end of the course you'll have all you need to embark on a storytelling path - for pleasure or profit - but the true elixir will be the joy of the stories themselves.
The October course can be a follow-on from the earlier course, or taken on its own.
