A taster weekend at the Amber Sculpture Studio
After a thorough introduction you will plan and complete one or more achievable projects. You will learn about:
- the different nature of the materials;
- all the basic techniques to work with both materials;
- which tools are used for wood and stone
- how to create form in wood and stone
- tool sharpening and maintenance
You might want to try both materials or perhaps focus on one that particularly appeals to you. We will be working through on projects during Saturday evening. The Amber Sculpture Studio is a pleasant, well-equipped work space with workbenches inside and outside. Please contact David with any queries (see tutor index.)
