A four day crafts Summer School
Immerse yourself in one or both of these crafts and expect the unexpected while wrestling willow and walloping wool!
Norah will guide you through the different techniques, sizes and shapes of baskets and a variety of structures and decorations. Discover the beauty and textures of willow as you create lovely, functional baskets, structures or decorations.
Margaret will show you how to make felt hangings, bags, hats, small rugs and nuno felted jackets and scarves. She will help you tap into your creative skills and play with textures and colour to discover their magic.
Books, photographs, slides and DVDs increase your knowledge of the history and folklore of these ancient crafts.
