PLANT SPIRIT The roots of traditional herbal medicine
How did our ancestors know which plants to use and how? Often perceived as 'trial and error', medical herbalist Nathan Hughes teaches how it is possible to open our sensitivity to plants and thus enter into a form of communication with them via a variety of meditative practices. From this connection with the spirit of a plant, accessed through feelings and archetypal symbols, we can enter a far deeper understanding of it, its properties, and how it might be used as medicine. This is peaceful yet awakening weekend, opens us up to the beauty and wisdom of the herb world.
