Starts 9.30am on the 9th
Finishes 4pm on the 10th
The runes are an ancient magical alphabet developed between 300BC and 150AD. They were designed from the outset to fulfil two roles – writing and magic. This two day course aims to provide not only an introduction to the runes and their uses for divination and magic, but an insight into the concepts behind their use and how these ideas can be applied to 21st century life.
Participants will need a rune-set for the course. These may be purchased before or during the course. They will be locally made and unique. Cost should be £10 - £15. If participants have their own sets they may, of course, bring them, but the tutor would recommend that gemstone sets are not used.
