Orchestral courses have been running successfully at Hawkwood for over thirty years. During that time hundreds of players have gained confidence, expanded their repertoire, improved their technique, escaped a hectic life and made like-minded friends in wonderful surroundings. Our course aim is to enable players of all levels to play together as an orchestra and in chamber groups in an enjoyable and fulfilling way, covering a wider variety of music than on our February weekend course.
We particularly welcome string players. Wind places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
