Dramatherapy University Certificate Course

Dramatherapy is an active form of therapy that emphasises movement, voice, characterization, embodiment and expression. The focus is not on performance, but on the creative process itself.

This well-established and popular course offers an extensive experiential introduction to the theory, practice and application of Dramatherapy as a foundation for professional training and /or for developing skills for the work place. This programme may be of particular interest to those working in the caring professions, social services, teaching and/or those who have a personal or professional interest in the therapeutic value of drama and theatre processes. The course is accredited by Worcester University as equivalent to 40 credits at level 5 Intermediate & level 6 Advanced.

One year part-time October 2010 – May 2011 (five weekends and a Spring School.)

Entry is by interview and candidates will be considered in view of their personal, professional and educational experience. No formal qualification required.
