Quiet Space at Hawkwood
The MEDITATION SPACE
A place just to Be. To listen.
The Meditation Space is open for group meditations on
SUNDAY and WEDNESDAY morning.
There is no need to be familiar with meditation techniques, just a willingness to enter into a space of silence and stillness.
The Meditation Space is available at other times by arrangement with the
Hawkwood College office: 01453 759034 Mon-Sat 9am-5pm.
On Sundays, a small group gathers here at 9.00am. At approximately 9.15am we begin a half-hour meditation which opens and ends with the sounding of a gently resonating gong. We keep to the principle of silence whilst together here. (Anyone is free to arrive or to leave during this period as they wish.)
We then quietly adjourn to the Hawkwood dining room where refreshments are available and where we may share our thoughts.
A small donation for refreshments is appreciated.

On Wednesday, there is an opportunity at the beginning of the working day for us to gather and be together, again in silence and stillness. The session is un-led, so people can join (quietly) at any time.
