This work begins with you; the person or character that you take yourself to be. In fully exploring your story without judgement; your experiences, beliefs, fears and undigested emotions, you are able to come to a profound understanding of the root of your self and your unique journey through life. Out of this understanding emerges self-acceptance and love.

What is your relationship to yourself? Are you critical, judgemental of yourself and others? Do you have a perfect idea of how you would like to be or how you think you should be? Is this inner judge in control most of the time?
We all have thoughts which swirl around our heads, creating emotions from anxiety to sadness to anger, and then we judge ourselves for not being ‘spiritual enough’. However, when we take the time to look deep within, these endless thoughts are often fuelled by past experiences and beliefs about ourselves and life which we may have carried for decades.
This work, therefore, begins with you. During the day, through discussion, group exercises and guided meditation, you will experience a way to safely face those beliefs, fears and undigested emotions without judgment. Moving towards the most hidden parts of ourselves is challenging but immensely rewarding, as it can bring you to a profound understanding of the root of your self and your unique journey through life. This becomes the basis for a new, compassionate relationship within.
Immersing yourself in this compassion will enable your heart to open, which in turn will naturally quieten your mind. As you experience love for every aspect of yourself, you begin to open to love for every self, seeing the interconnectedness of all of life. This is the essence of peace.
No previous experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable, loose clothes and bring a blanket and cushion.

During a busy career as an actress, Caroline Bliss was introduced to the teachings of J. Krishnamurti which turned her world around. Exploring further the philosophy of Enlightenment, through the teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj and Ramana Maharshi, she realised she needed to understand her personal ‘Self’ before she could be free of the ego. This took her through various forms of therapy, unpacking deep, hidden emotions, and introducing her to the notion of the ‘inner child’. Constantly returning to the simple directness of Krishnamurti’s teachings, however, eventually brought a powerful awakening.
