How the Whole Self Produces Whole Outcomes
Facilitator: Diana Durham
The challenge of our time is to discover our own generative power. We do this by learning to use the magical tool of consciousness. Instead of reacting to events around us, we understand how to move with the natural order. Here we contribute insight and ideas, in sync with life.
This is a 3-part online course with author and poet, Diana Durham, exploring the Coherent Self.
Event time: Thu 4th Feb 2021 at 4:00pm - Thu 18th Feb 2021 at 5:30pm
At a glance
- Explore how to use the powerful ‘tool’ of our consciousness
- Cultivate insight through the relationship between our inner self and personality self
- Attune to intuition as guidance
Participants will gain
- A framework of understanding about your whole identity.
- Understand how consciousness works when you tune into your deeper self.
- A sense of how your whole consciousness can help bring wholeness to the wider world.
These workshops will introduce aspects of archetype and theoretical physicist David Bohm’s theory of the Implicate Order to explore the anatomy of consciousness and its systemic connection with the world of form.

Diana Durham is the author of three poetry collections, the novel The Curve of the Land, the nonfiction study The Return of King Arthur: Completing the Quest for Wholeness and, most recently, Coherent Self, Coherent World: A New Synthesis of Myth, Metaphysics & Bohm’s Implicate Order.
Diana also wrote, performed and co-produced a dramatic audio retelling of the grail myth called Perceval & the Grail now also a 15-part animated series on YouTube. Diana has given talks and workshops using the grail myth internationally, including at the Women’s Studies Research Centre, Brandeis; Dialogos’ ‘Collective Leadership’ Courses in the UK, and for the New Hampshire Humanities Council.
In the early 1990’s she was among a grouping who began to explore dialogue and collective intelligence with the late theoretical physicist David Bohm. She is also a certified practitioner of ‘Attunement,’ a lifestyle and healing practice. In all her work, Diana draws on archetype and the natural world to explore why our deeper identity is the root of creativity and the visionary power of imagination. Both of which she believes are essential forces in the renewal of culture.Visit Tutor's Website
"I was very impressed with the design of the program. It involved the participants in an engaging manner and elicited creative responses, which could be applied to their own work.” —Brandeis University Women's Studies Research Center at Merrick Theater Studio Workshop, Brandeis, Boston
“Diana Durham writes with a particular crystalline clarity suffusing both her poetry and prose: it is her essential expression. At the same time, her philosophical cast of mind reaches the highest level as a result of her many years of training and inner work. She is truly in touch with Sophia: and at a time when the Feminine has never been more important in its embodiment on the planet, we would do well to hear what she has to say.” —Jay Ramsay, author, Monuments, Kingdom of the Edge and over 30 books of poetry and prose
“This wide-ranging book is an important contribution to reorient-ing our culture towards the neglected inner dimension that gives rise to coherence and meaning and constitutes our deeper being. The author shows how we can experience coherence by accessing this deep self, drawing not only on David Bohm’s fundamental ideas about the implicate and explicate orders and on dialogue, but also on her extensive knowledge of art, Arthurian myth, the Grail and archetypes of transformation. Our journey towards wholeness also involves recognising and integrating the shadow and our woundedness, not only individually but also collectively as we evolve towards a wisdom that unites intuitive insights with rational analysis. This is a bold and inspiring vision for our time.“ —-David Lorimer, Programme Director, Scientific and Medical Net- work; Editor, Paradigm Explorer
