Practical Information

Registration is on Friday from 4.00 pm onwards with tea. The course begins with supper at 6.30 pm together and ends at 4.00 pm on Sunday with afternoon tea and departure.

Please note that prices are listed per person.

Residential options are fully inclusive with all meals provided. Non-residential options include suppers, lunches and all refreshments and exclude B&B.

Dave Townsend

Dave Townsend has been performing, teaching and researching music for more than thirty years. From a background in literary research, further education and publishing he plunged into a full-time musical career in the early 1980s. He created The Mellstock Band, played a pivotal role in the foundation of the West Gallery Music Association and has published several books on English dance music, carols and similar. He provides expert knowledge of the instrument and techniques to further benefit the players who attend

Steve Ellis

Steve Ellis is the inspirational conductor who will lead the event. He plays in the City of Bristol Brass Band. He has been leading and teaching at this event for several years. Sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm.
