Reconciling the worlds of humans and nature
Facilitators: Caitlín Matthews, John Matthews and Wil Kinghan
This is a residential winter retreat, with myth, ritual, cosy fires and good company.
Once upon a time, humanity’s relationship to nature and the faery worlds was harmonious and peaceful. Due to unwise and selfish acts, however, trust has been shattered many times and the connection is uneasy. This winter gathering is held with the intention of healing this broken covenant.

The Sacred Mythic Tradition
By honouring sacred myth, exploring its wisdom, and the fault-lines where we have diverted from it, we seek pathways to primordial truth. We will listen to the unseen beings who support and bring life force into myriad forms. Drawing upon the body of work that John Matthews and Wil Kinghan have generated in the Sídhe oracle teachings, as well as upon Caitlín’s work with the Three Belongings, we will work with the timeless world of faery, as shown in the European mythic traditions.
Our sacred intention is to re-explore the essential accord that once existed between faeries and humans, and find the bridge that may restore it again. This is the first time the wisdom of these Sídhe teachings has been openly taught in the UK. What changes do we have to make; how can the promise of a restored accord work? Together we will find out through meditation, ritual and the ancient storylines of the land. You are cordially welcome to join us for our 36th annual mystery school gathering which is open to all. If you are new to this work and would like more information, please contact Caitlín Matthews c/o email@example.com
Please bring a robe, shawl or scarf for the ritual; and a stone - not a crystal - that can fit in the palm of one hand.
Contributions of drink or nibbles to our Saturday night ceilidh are welcome. Do bring a poem/song/other piece if you would like to contribute to the creative sharing.
Registration with tea, Friday 4.00 pm. Course starts with supper at 6.30pm; course ends after lunch at 2.00pm on Sunday.
