The Healing Voice

The healing voice speaks directly to us, flowing seamlessly through all barriers to address the deep core of the soul. In this course, we shall explore the use of the healing voice in shamanic practice, learning how to reach the depths by using toning and singing. We will be exploring the keening tradition, to express grief and clear our energetic bodies. By opening our shamanic practice to access our inner worlds through our voices, we will discover how supported both we and our clients can feel. Much of our work is based upon the three musical strains or modes of ancient Ireland: the grief strain, the laugh strain, and the sleep strain which address the healing of the soul. We will also consider the traditional gifts of the three cauldrons, which are the subtle soul containers in Irish lore.

This course is open to people who are fluent in shamanic journeying or who use their voice as an instrument for healing. You don’t need to be professionally trained in singing. For clarity or confirmation about your qualification for this course, please contact Cáit Branigan on
