Facilitator: Sifu James Lawrence

Event time: Thu 6th May 2021 at 7:00pm - Thu 6th May 2021 at 8:15pm

Ancient Art Modern Times

Shaolin Cosmos Qigong is an Ancient Art for modern times. Imagine having the opportunity to practice an elite form of Qigong (Chi Kung) for: Good Health, Vitality, Longevity, Happiness and, Spiritual Joys.

Sifu James Lawrence will talk about the difference between qigong as a gentle, physical exercise and Shaolin Cosmos Qigong. At the Shaolin Wahnam School we estimate that about 80% of practitioners today only get minimal benefits practicing qigong as a gentle exercise. This talk will cover the difference between low level and high-level qigong.

What benefits can one expect? There are many benefits, but the most important and urgent need right now is: to achieve good health.

Shaolin Cosmos Qigong

About 80% of practitioners today practice gentle, physical exercise, and they don’t realise it. Hence, many practitioners are weak and sick, though genuine chi kung is supposed to contribute to good health, vitality and longevity.
We in Shaolin Wahnam practice genuine high level chi kung.  Besides contributing to good health, vitality and longevity, high level chi kung also contributes to peak performance and spiritual joys irrespective of religion.

What benefits can one expect? There are many benefits when practicing Shaolin Cosmos Qigong. However, the most urgent need for us right now is to achieve good health.

The 18 Lohan Hands

Qigong of The 18 Lohan Hands was initially formed, by a Zen patriarch, the Great Bodhidharma.

There is strong evidence that suggests that these exercises enhanced the spiritual cultivation of the Buddhist monks at the Southern Shaolin temple in China. As well as benefiting them spiritually, they also reaped the benefits of good health, vitality and longevity.

The 18 Lohan hands formed around 1500 years ago. And even now, are a treasured art and used in today’s modern and fragile society.

Be Healthy Today

Ask yourself honestly:

How important is your health today?  And, how much do you prioritise your health in this ever consuming and challenging environment?

Sifu James says that Shaolin Cosmos Qigong is simple, yet yields remarkable results. It is through correct practice and by learning specific skills and techniques that one benefits the most.

It is important to emphasise the importance of skills over techniques.  Most practitioners today practice techniques, and they think that by practicing the techniques they can eventually get good health, vitality and longevity.
