Monday 25 May: Static Qi Gong positions to build life force energy
Monday 1 June: Rhythmical Shibashi exercises for immunity and lung health
Monday 8 June: Moving Qi Gong for spiritual development and life purpose.
Monday 15 June: Review of the practices and content from first 3 sessions

The ancient practices of Tai Chi and Qi Gong have proved to be a practical and effective way to develop physical health and personal resilience. As modern times become more turbulent and fearful, these skills are needed now more than ever. Based on a deep understanding of holistic health and the interconnections between mind, body and the energy that runs through all things, these practices bring calm, health, vitality and a sense of oneness.
This series of workshops intends to embed exercises that are easy to remember and that you can do at home, no matter how much space you have. No prior experience is needed. The exercises are gentle and calm, yet incredibly effective at building health and resilience. Chris will also share insights into the spiritual and philosophical underpinning of Tai Chi which can be applied to your own life. Together this will help build physical, emotional and mental resilience in the face of an ever changing world situation.

We will send you instructions in advance of the first session. Attendance at all four sessions is required.
To get the most out of the session, wear loose clothing and light shoes (trainers or similar). No special equipment is required. All exercises are performed standing up (or sitting if unable to stand). You will need enough space to stretch your arms out to the sides.
Chris Taylor is an intuitive facilitator and coach. He has been studying and practicing Tai Chi for more than twenty years and is a qualified instructor. Chris pays particular attention to embodying the principles and practices of Tai Chi in his own life. This means eating healthily, daily Tai Chi and meditation practices and an approach to life which starts from a place of being intricately connected with all things. Trained in Yang Style Tai Chi and qualified as an instructor with the Master Ding Academy in London, Chris brings a practical take on applying these ancient practices to the modern world.
Chris lives with his wife on a 42 acre organic communal farm in the English countryside where he is learning horticulture, earth care, orchard care and composting. Seeing these activities also as meditative practices, he is dedicated to regeneration of the Earth and all life.
