What is Positive Psychology?

Positive psychology seeks to answer the big questions such as what makes us happy? What does it take to flourish? What gives meaning to life?  What are the ingredients of a good life? What are the characteristics of a positive leader?

“Psychology is not just the study of disease, weakness, and damage; it also is the study of strength and virtue. Treatment is not just fixing what is wrong; it also is building what is right.” – Martin Seligman

“This retreat gave me the time, space and encouragement to focus on myself positively. It has helped me understand characteristics that I thought were my weaknesses, are actually strengths and tools to use them to best effect.
