Hawkwood is an idyllic and special setting for your event, whether you are looking to hold a small meeting, a quiet retreat, or a conference for up to 100 delegates.
You would be hard pressed to find such an inspiring and welcoming venue elsewhere, and this is one reason why many organisations and groups return to Hawkwood year after year.
With seven function rooms and 28 bedrooms sleeping up to 48 people, Hawkwood is perfect for both residential and day events. Our warm, comfortable bedrooms include original period features and views across the beautiful valley or onto the gardens. We strive to adapt our facilities for our guests’ needs; recently we upgraded our ground floor ensuite to ensure full disabled access.
We host training and away days for educational and ethical organisations, with tailor-made packages to suit your requirements. Hawkwood’s friendly team will accommodate your needs to create the ideal environment for your event’s success.
We are located in the Cotswold countryside, within 42 acres of beautiful, sustainably managed woodland, farmland and gardens. Take a look at some of photos of the house on our Accomodation page.
Hawkwood is a charity run and our emphasis on sustainability and ethical living means that we attract many groups with a similar ethos. We have a reputation for our delicious, organic, home-cooked food with the capacity to cater for a wide variety of dietary needs. Coffee and tea are available all day long for our visitors, and our chefs bake homemade treats for afternoon tea. Free wifi is available throughout the house including the function rooms.

“Hawkwood has all the ingredients we look for when running events and meetings –their ethical approach, from the fantastic food they serve to the way they manage their land, works perfectly for us. It’s a relaxed environment which is conducive to creative thinking and open dialogue, and the staff are so helpful.”
