Kitchen Assistants

Part-time and full-time, flexible hours.

Salary: National Living Wage at £9.50/ hr.

We are looking to add assistants to our friendly kitchen team. The job is of kitchen assistant and the role is split between keeping a clean operational kitchen, basic food preparation, serving our guests – all with a flexible, positive, can-do attitude. Kickstart Opportunities

Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking is delighted to be participating in the new government Kickstart Scheme. We’ve teamed up with Create Gloucestershire to offer young people who are part of the Kickstart scheme a chance to work with us. We have various placements available designed to equip young people with the skills and confidence necessary to build an exciting new career in the arts.

These are Kickstart opportunities – so it’s only open to young people aged between 16-24 who are currently unemployed and claiming universal credit. To apply, you must speak to your JobCentre Plus work coach.

To apply for these jobs please register with your job coach at the jobcentre who will refer you. Once your job coach has contacted us, you will then be asked to send your CV and a short covering letter – stating clearly which role you are applying for – to Alicia Carey, Hawkwood’s CEO.
