Aga Khan Music Award winner, Soumik Datta will perform an evening of contemporary Indian music to address refugee issues. Together with SDA associate artists, Gurdain Singh on tabla and Peetha Narayanan on violin, the concert will be followed by the launch of the Green Room – SDA’s new residency programme to deliver professional development opportunities for global south refugee and migrant musicians. This is a chance to find out who the Green Room Artists are and take part in an informal Q&A.
The event will be followed by a networking opportunity for local artists and organisations working in this space.
