Moving to a thriving mindset

Surviving to Thriving

Grief, anger, frustration, resentment, disbelief; many of us are feeling those at the moment.  Every part of our lives has turned upside down – over night.  We find ourselves working at home, cut off from our teams, families, friends, social lives and the ‘normal’ moments of a typical day. This is a huge adjustment in just a short time, for our minds and for our bodies.

Our usual way of living has been taken away, therefore instead we must find new ways of working, connecting, and keeping physical and mentally well.  A recent CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) report* suggest 52% of people with a mental health condition say it has worsened during this pandemic.

Is it possible to live from a place of thriving in this environment?

We cannot choose our current environment. We can choose how we respond to it.

Through being aware of our reactions, mindsets and habits, we can make more compassionate choices to better support our own thriving – and those around us.
